Scrinder's data-use notice
Privacy
What is stored when your team swipes, and how it becomes a shared conversation.
What team sessions store
Scrinder stores team-session information online so people can participate from different devices:
- The session code, host name, creation time, selected deck and its cards.
- Each participant's chosen name, participant identifier, joining time, access token and completion status.
- Each rating (“Going well” or “Problem”), linked to its card, participant and session.
Although the results do not show who gave a particular rating, individual ratings are linked to participant records in storage. Names and completion status are visible to other participants. Use a nickname if you do not want to share your real name.
How ratings are used
Ratings track progress and produce counts by card, positive-rating percentages, team alignment, topic summaries and opinion splits. Shared results are revealed only after every participant has rated all cards. These patterns help teams choose retrospective questions and practical improvements.
Participants can download completed results as a PDF and share it outside Scrinder. Only share reports and invitation links with the people you intend to include; anyone with the session code can join.
Optional AI retrospective suggestions
When a participant requests AI suggestions, Scrinder sends the deck name, card texts and categories, participant count, aggregated good/problem counts and any background text they enter to the AI service through Lovable AI Gateway.
Participant names, access tokens and individual voting records are not included in that request. Avoid entering personal or confidential information in the optional background text.
Data on your device
Solo-session results and custom decks are saved in your browser's local storage. Team participation details are also saved there so your browser can access the session. Clearing site data removes those local records, but does not delete stored online team-session records.
Keeping and removing team data
This notice does not specify a fixed retention period for online team-session data. There is currently no in-app control for deleting an online team session. Do not use Scrinder to collect sensitive personal information.
